The clock is ticking for the 275,000 besieged men, women and children of East Aleppo as Russia and Syria have given civilians until the 7pm on the evening of Friday 4th November to get out, before launching a ferocious assault intended to destroy Aleppo.
Last week regime warplanes dropped pamphlets in the area with the haunting words; “If you do not leave these areas urgently, you will be annihilated; you know that everyone has given up on you”.
The suffering of our beloved brothers and sisters is so severe. The pamphlets said a so called humanitarian corridor will be open from 9am that morning. Instructing how and where to exit from, yet leaving only the few daylight hours to escape the death and destruction.
Despite the danger, many families can’t even consider leaving. The prospect of crossing into the Assad regime territory is too risky given the documented cases of blocked corridors and civilians being used as human shields. Let alone the barbarism of Assad’s Shabiha in regime-controlled areas, where tens of thousands have been detained and since disappeared, rape is regularly used as a weapon, and cold-blooded murder has been the norm for the last six years.
The people of Aleppo have had no reason to trust the international community or the criminal regime of Assad, and many would rather die in their homes than be subject to further humiliation and degradation.
The question to ask ourselves is whether the clock is ticking for the oppressed of East Aleppo or for us? If they have until 7pm tonight to save their lives, is our time not limited too? To fulfil our responsibility as Muslims, unified in demanding the justice of Islam by supporting a radical and ideological change in the Muslim lands.
Allah azwa jal addresses those capable; “And what is [the matter] with you that you fight not in the cause of God and (for) the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, “Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper?” An Nisa v 75.
So we demand the Muslim armies are mobilised and the sincere Mujahideen who stand against the oppressors are supported too.
O Muslims, don’t be duped by the idea that any secular liberal democracy will ever have the political will to turn this situation around. Islam was revealed comprehensively to address the actions of its advocates and the outcomes of its adherents. The justice of the Islamic system is unparalleled in providing peace and so securing prosperity and unity amongst all; unlike any secular democracy has ever. So only the promised Khilafah on the way of the prophethood is worthy of our calls and trust.
“There will be Prophethood for as long as Allah wills it to be, then He will remove it when He wills, then there will be Khilafah on the Prophetic method and it will be for as long as Allah wills, then He will remove it when He wills, then there will be biting Kingship for as long as Allah Wills, then He will remove it when He wills, then there will be oppressive kingship for as long as Allah wills, then he will remove it when He wills, and then there will be Khilafah upon the Prophetic method” and then he remained silent.
